We came just for a few hours to enjoy a few drinks and the beach (unable to rate the room because we were not staying in there). Food, drinks, service and facilites were great. Abraham the waiter was very attentive and pleasant to talk to. We called 4 friends who were near by and they joined us and said this place was great. The constant vendors was a little bit too much, but that is there and everywhere We went. At the end, We didn't even care because We were having a great time. The 8 of us agree We are definitely coming back soon and stay the a whole week (we were on a cruise).
The receptionist Rebeca and Aldo are really nice! Our room is equipped with a small kitchen and the ocean view from the balcony is gorgeous! We fried fishes we caught and the taste is soooo good. The rooftop bar provides panoramic view of the Banderas Bay. We spotted humpback whales two times from our balcony during our eight nights stay. In the morning of our last day, we had a chance to fly drone and filmed a mom with her calf swimming in the Banderas Bay! Facilities are bit of out dated but given the price, it was a great stay at the hotel.
If you stay in a room with an ocean view, you'll be in paradise; I don't need to leave the room to enjoy the beach.
Haven't been back to the blue chairs in 15 years. Still a great place. Great food. Great service reasonably priced cocktails. The only thing now I see it is is the vendors selling things. It's getting worse and worse. They just hound you like every two freaking minutes. Do you want to buy some? And now they're on to selling pot and Coke and it's just constant creative people harassing. So I love Puerto Vallarta but I don't think I'm coming back again. It's just it's. It's just you can only say no so many times before you start getting pissed. I don't know you don't want to be rude cuz you know that's their livelihood, but it's just the point of absolute craziness
This is our fourth time at PV and blue chairs is always a great time. We walked in and needed drinks before check in and Rafael took good care of us. Best kick off to my 40th big weekend !! Love this place.
We stay at the Blue Chairs the last week of October into the first week of November 2025. The staff were polite, respectful, accommodating, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Blue Chairs to those who like to stay up late and the nightlife. They a rooftop bar with live entertainment nightly, and the pool area is open until 11:00 pm. Both can be heard from the rooms.
Whenever I visit Vallarta, Blue Chairs is the place to go at the beach. Rafael and all of his staff are absolutely amazing—super nice, kind, and incredibly hardworking. They truly take care of you like family. On top of that, the food is delicious. Highly recommend!
My 4 day at The Blue Chairs was really fun is was my BDay weekend. I have stayed there before and was not sure if would stay again but this trip changed my mind completely. Rebecca at the front desk was amazing. My friend and I had a problem with our room reservation and she went above and beyond to get it resolved!!! Location great, room need a little updating, service at beach club great. Rooftop bar and Sunday Brunch great lots of fun. Pool was ok but needs refresh. All and all an 4/5. See you next on my B Day weekend>> You won be back!!!
